People will get a little extra sleep this weekend as the clocks are turned back ending Daylight Saving.
Clocks are changed at 3am on Sunday April 5. At that time, clocks go back one hour to 2am.
In April 2009, daylight saving in South Australia was extended on an ongoing basis and is now observed from the first Sunday in October until the first Sunday in the following April.
This aligns SA with daylight saving observed in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
