Kimber and Edwards top of the ranks

Cowell hosted this season's singles champion of champions event for both the ladies and men for the Eastern Eyre Peninsula Bowling Association.

Each club provided their champion singles player to play round robin, first to 15 shots.

Port Neill's Tiffany Kimber won all her matches to earn the title of ladies' singles champion of champions, with four wins and 30 shots up.

Cowell's Ange Turner was runner up with three wins and 16 shots up.

Glenda Evans from Cleve, Hellena Thom from Arno Bay and Val Bourke from Kimba all competed strongly, with Wudinna's Sue Fisher unavailable to play.

Arno Bay's Steven 'Ollie' Edwards won a tightly contested men's singles champion of champions, winning three matches eight shots up.

Robert Udy from Cowell came runner up, winning three matches and four shots up.

Cleve's Noel Millard, John Grund from Kimba and Bevan Pfitzner from Port Neill also played, however Lock's David Beard was unavailable.
