The Port Neill Hall has had another face-lift thanks to a grant from the Foundation for Regional and Rural Renewal.

A $6883 Strengthening Rural Communities grant went toward repairing a hole and mortar degradation, and repainting the western wall of the hall.

A donation from the Port Neill Hotel Social Club earlier in the year meant there was also enough to repaint the rest of the outside of the hall.

The upgrade followed the installation of a new roof in 2017/18 through a $17,000 Fund My Community grant.

The Port Neill War Memorial Hall Committee is now hoping to source funding to upgrade the hall toilets to cater for people with disabilities.
