Twilight golfers brave the storm

Twilight Golf kicked off a bit later this year to let the course go to seed for our centenary year next season.

It appears some of our members are afraid to invest and could not commit to playing last Friday due to three tiny claps of thunder.

Seven brave souls headed out for a hit with two of our best golfers bringing home the money.

Greg Cook got the winner's cheque on a count-back from Bali survivor, aka Trent Rodda, both with a very fine 19 stableford points.

Cook also made a motza, getting the Bendigo long drive as well as the bankers accuracy pin.

Kevin Baxter proved picking a winner can be dangerous, hedging his odds and getting up with a projected analysis, which proved profitable.

Speaking of money, wasn't it nice to see South Africa take home a Cup full of Rand, winning the Rugby World Cup and leaving the Brexit Boys to count their pennies for the next four years.

Did you get your money on Mer de Glace?

Like how many cups can you fit in a week!

Speaking of money, Suzy Edwards cleaned up the cash in the inaugural week of the 'Secret Six,' which we hope does not go off every week and can build up to a sizable jackpot prize.
