Two former Eastern Ranges footballers will be showing off their talent to AFL recruiters later this year after invitees were announced for the national and state draft combines.
Cleve's Cameron Taheny is one of 79 footballers from across the country to be invited to the national event, one of 12 from South Australia.
The four-day event will be hosted in early October.
Taheny has shown potential this year in his debut SANFL season with Norwood and through the under 18 national championships.
Players invited to the national combine need to have been nominated by at least four AFL clubs.
A further 21 South Australian footballers will be put to the test at the state combine, with former Eastern Ranges and current Norwood player Cole Gerloff among them.
Gerloff made his SANFL debut in 2018 and has this year kicked 17 goals in his 14 games.
He will be joined at the combine by fellow Eyre Peninsula local Luke Partington of Tumby Bay.
The state combine will be held on October 12.
