In the month of August 2010, it was all about the Eyre Peninsula Field Days on the pages of the Eyre Peninsula Tribune, with attendees coming from far and wide to the major Cleve event.

Local businesses and community groups set themselves up at the event to show off their products or raise money.

As winter came to an end, the community kept busy with choir concerts, motorkhanas and hunt club meets, with regular sport heading into finals.

The month also saw the 2010 Federal election, where current MP Rowan Ramsey delivering a swing to the Liberal Party, despite Labor forming government.

The Cleve Area School officially opened the Terry Hampel Skills and Trade Centre at Sims Farm in memory of a beloved local and member of the Sims family.
