The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning with damaging winds expected across much of the Eyre Peninsula this afternoon.
The cold front expected across South Australia will bring damaging winds, squally showers and thunderstorms to the Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula and parts of the West Coast district.
SA Police are reminding motorists across the state to drive to the conditions, with the strongest winds and heaviest rain likely from the afternoon into the evening.
The State Emergency Service has advised the community to move vehicles under cover or away from trees, secure or put away loose items around properties and to stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
