Local clubs and pubs across Cowell and Cleve became dancefloors as members of the Australian Army Band Adelaide arrived in town.
About twelve musicians, and support crew including a chaplain visited for a drought relief tour to boost morale in the region.
Concerts at the Cleve Hotel on the weekend and the Cleve Golf Club on Monday night drew strong crowds before the group headed to Cowell.
The band performed a repertoire of Australian and global classics with a singer, rhythm section and horn section with plenty of crowd participation from young and old alike.
When not performing, band members were put to work on community projects.
The musicians were given the tough task of moving large quantities of gyprock to assist the construction of the Cleve clubrooms before providing assistance at the Cowell Netball and Tennis Club.
The tour of the region concludes with performances at the Commercial Hotel in Cowell on Wednesday night and on Thursday at the Cowell Football Club from 7pm.
