The Cleve skate park has received some attention this week, with Elliston artist Todd 'Romy' Romanowycz leading a group of students in turning the bare concrete into a mural.
About 13 Year 9 students from Cleve Area School had the chance to get spray-painting on Monday and Tuesday, with Mr Romanowycz incorporating their ideas into the final product.
'Romy' was brought in to lead the project by the Cleve District Council following similar work with young people at Streaky Bay.
He said the Cleve project was a "real collaboration" and he hoped to make the skate park bright and eye catching.
A main focus for the project is to give students the opportunity to put their own artistic ideas on the park.
"They have some cool ideas...the whole point of it is to have the kids' ideas and get them involved," Mr Romanowycz said.
"It's always a good vibe and kids are always keen to have a go at the spray paint."
