Flashback Friday | 2018

This week we look back to this time last year as the temperature began to cool in 2018.

Sport had begun with the Anzac Day clash between Cowell and Eastern Ranges, while local RSL sub-branches held dawn services to mark the day.

Lucky Bay was visited by Senator Lucy Gichuhi as shackowners continued their push to secure longer term tenure for their shacks.

Preparations were already underway for the 2018 Eyre Peninsula Field Days with George the Farmer announcing his attendance.

The Kimba silos became the first to be permanently lit, with the installation of lights providing a stunning picture at night.

Local netballers had some good results, with Eastern Ranges juniors taking a win at the Wangary Carnival and four Eastern Eyre senior players making the top ten at the Lock Regional Carnival.
