Just under 60 runners, walkers and riders gathered at Middle Camp and Miller's Point on the weekend to take part in the second Fun Run/Ride to raise funds for the Paint Cowell's Silo project.
The run was held in conjunction with the Mentally Fit EP 'Growing Together' weekend, with a family day set up at the finish line on the Cowell Oval.
Volunteers were at the finish line taking note of the winners of both the 10 kilometre and five kilometre events.
First across the line for the 10km cyclists was council chief executive officer Chris Smith, with Drew Tonkin coming in first for the shorter event.
Wayne Piggott was the first of the small group who attempted the 10-kilometre run, with Ethan Grigg taking the win from the five-kilometre start point.
The event raised around $900 towards the silo art project.
The $20,000 silo art project could be fully funded as soon as May as a grant application is under assessment.
About $12,000 is still required before the project goes ahead.
