Rudall 7/190(cc) def by Cowell 6/205(cc)
Cowell took the win in a close A grade match against Rudall in the final round before finals.
Cowell won the toss at the Rudall Sporting Complex and elected to bat first in warm, sunny conditions.
The visitors started slow, with openers Zac Crabb (4) and Mitchell Gibbs (2) not troubling the scorers much.
After Crabb departed with the score at 2/27, Zane Wykamp and Carl Jaeschke proved an effective partnership.
The pair brought the score up to 94 before Wykamp (38) sent a Jed Burton ball up in the air, for Thomas Weiss to take a spectacular juggling catch close to the boundary.
Jaeschke went on to be the main contributor with the bat, scoring 73.
Geoff Star and Nick Gale contributed with 29 each, Cowell finishing their overs with four wickets to spare.
There was an even spread in the bowling, Riley Evans the only multiple wicket taker with 2/39.
It was a two-man show in the batting for Rudall, with opener Mick Noble and Jed Burton at three contributing most of the score.
Opener Thomas Weiss was dismissed in the first over without a run to his name, leaving Noble and Burton to bat until the 36th over.
Burton was dismissed first on 82, with Noble going on to make 83 with the score at 3/182 and just under four overs remaining.
The remaining batters couldn't make the runs, falling short by 15 at 7/190.
Geoff Starr took three for just fourteen in his five overs.
Both teams continue on next week, with last-placed Port Neill eliminated ahead of finals.
Cowell will take on ladder leader Cleve for the first spot in the grand final.
Rudall finished in fourth position, and will play a knockout final this weekend against Darke Peak.
In the B grade, Cowell finished the regular season in first and will face Cleve in the first preliminary final.
Third-placed Rudall will play fourth-placed Lock in an elimination.
