The Lucky Bay ferry will continue its suspension of services into the new year, with no specific return date.
Services from Lucky Bay to Wallaroo have been at a halt since May 2017 when the ferry went on a winter hiatus.
It has been stop-start for the ferry over the past few years, with a two year closure in 2015-2016.
In August last year, SeaSA announced it would not run for a year for safety reasons during the construction of the import and export shoreside facilities for the Lucky Bay terminal and the deepening of the approach channel.
The planned return date of September 2018 is now long past.
In a recent updated statement, SeaSA has updated the return date to “early 2019.”
Reservations offices at both Wallaroo and Lucky Bay will remain staffed and open until the service is recommenced.
