Lock Area School holds book fair

The Lock Area School Community Library held an ‘Out of this World’ Book Fair on Thursday 29th November.

Lots of great books and many other items were for sale at the fair, which was open to parents and students alike.

Students enjoyed an afternoon snack and drink as their parents browsed the items for sale.

Students were able to change into their Christmas themed costumes after school before attending the Book Fair.

Prizes for the best dressed and most creative costumes went to Rosie Bowey, Ella Habner, Lucas Britza, Austin Mellor, Anabell Bowey and Hudson Mellor.

Reindeers, tinsel and impossibly tall Chrismas hats made up some of the costumes on show.

Each best-dressed and most creative costume winner received a voucher to be spent at the fair.
