A 43-year-old man has been reported for several firearms offences after a search of his Cleve property.
Cleve, Cowell and Kimba police were joined by the Bomb Response Unit and Dog Operations Unit for the search.
The man was reported to police after setting off multiple explosive devices at a party at the Cleve Showgrounds, which resulted in lost fingers and a trip to Adelaide for medical treatment.
Officers discovered a large roll of detonation cord and seven unregistered firearms including two prescribed firearms.
They also discovered a small amount of dried cannabis and a cannabis plant.
The man was reported for multiple firearms offences including possession of explosive material.
He was also fined nearly $2000 for offences against the Controlled Substances Act, Fire and Emergency Services Act and the Firearms act.
Police are reminding the public of the dangers of illegal fireworks and explosives heading into the Christmas season.
