Cowell was the perfect place to be on the first Sunday of September.
The day kicked off with the Lions Markets through the morning.
Live music, creative stalls and a variety of food were available for visitors, including a group travelling in from interstate.
Families moved across from the market to the Cowell Sporting Complex for a family fun day.
The Franklin Harbour District Council set up a variety of activities for the local children, including apple bobbing, water balloon activities and cricket.
Wellbeing coordinator Jasmin Piggott kept the children entertained with a series of classic competitions including Tug of War and a wheelbarrow race.
The fun day was a prelude to the Carols, held out of a truck and featuring music from visitor Chris Jaensch.
The Cowell Area School Reception/Year 1 class entertained with a nativity play, and the Cowell Singers lead the crowd in the carols.
