SA-BEST Member of the Legislative Council Frank Pangallo has stopped by the Eyre Peninsula as a part of his party’s “listening tour”.
Mr Pangallo is visiting Eyre Peninsula and Upper Spencer Gulf to hear from residents and businesses about issues that were holding the region back from reaching their full potential.
During his visit Mr Pangallo will take part in a community forum at the Kimba Institute Hall on Wednesday night and plans to tour local farms and meet related stakeholders at Kimba, Cleve and Whyalla to witness firsthand the harsh farming conditions throughout the area.
Mr Pangallo said the party was committed to helping grow the state’s regional cities and towns.
“Committing to actively growing our regional areas offers a chance to stop the urban sprawl of metropolitan Adelaide, provide more workers for our rural industries and support a secure future for our regions and our state,” he said.
Mr Pangallo will take part in another community forum in Whyalla on Friday.
