South Australian Governor Hieu Van Le was making his way around the Eyre Peninsula this week, which included stops in Cleve and Kimba, as part of his Vice Regal Visit.
Mr Lee, along with his wife, Lan, spent Tuesday in Kimba, visiting the district, local businesses and the school.
It was also a chance for the Kimba District Council to address any concerns facing the district, such as health, and the town’s struggle to find a permanent doctor.
On Wednesday, Mr Lee visited Cleve’s Eyre Peninsula Field Days and Sims Farm.
“It (the visit) is part of my commitment as the South Australian Governor to reach every corner of the state and meet as many people as I can,” he said.
Mr Lee also visited Wudinna on Monday.
