Ranges and Ports player shine at AFL

Most boys who grow up playing football dream of playing for their favourite AFL team and a group of young local footballers got to experience just what that would feel like on June 3.

A group of Eastern Ranges and Ports had the opportunity to play on the Adelaide Oval during half-time of the Adelaide Crows v GWS Giants.

The 20 under 12 players were invited by the SANFL to play in the ‘little league’ match.

The two teams of 10 players played a game against another zone school or football club along wings of the oval.
