As the 2018 Eyre Peninsula Field Days get closer, the committee has started to get the grounds ready for the big event, making some changes to the layout.
On Friday, May 25, the Eyre Peninsula Field Days moved a 40 foot long toilet block from the western side of the field days site into the centre of the site, with the help of a crane from Elleway Wreckers and a truck from Quinns Transport.
Eyre Peninsula Field Days committee member Erroll Schuster said the relocation was aimed at making the toilets “more central.”
“Where the toilets were was a bit out of the main area, so we chose to move them into a more central area to give attendees more access to them.”
In addition to the relocation, the toilet block has also received a fresh coat of paint.
