Cleve Lions Club members have given the Cleve Cemetery a face-lift, recently replacing the gates and some fencing that were “looking tired”.

Council helped with clearing away some of the build-up of sand from the wire fence and spreading some gravel by the entrance.

The entrance is now looking much nicer and tidier with new powdered-coated black gates and plain fencing on both sides of the pillars.

The club has asked for a member from the Police Drug Squad go along and speak at its March 27 dinner meeting.

The meeting will be open for anyone to come and hear the speaker.

More details of the meeting will be advertised in the near future
