Cleve man blows 0.143

A Cleve man was caught drink driving in Port Lincoln in the early hours of Friday morning.

The man will face court after he allegedly registered a blood alcohol reading nearly three times over the legal limit.

Just before 3am, a Port Lincoln patrol on the Lincoln Highway stopped the man driving a Holden Statesman for a mobile breath test.

The 32-year-old man was reported for drink driving after he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.143.

The man lost his licence for six months and he will be summoned to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
