A night to remember The King

There will be a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on in the Cowell Institute on Saturday, February 24, as the town pays tribute to The King of rock’n’roll.

The night is a great excuse for people to get out their ‘blue suede shoes’ and sing along, dance along, or just sit back and take it all in.

There will be live entertainment and recorded music that will take people all the way back to the fifties and take them on a wild ride through to the seventies.

Knowledge will be tested with an Elvis quiz and marvel at the memorabilia from the Elvis Museum in Whyalla.

In case anyone needs another excuse to dress up, there will be prizes for the best dressed Elvis and Priscilla.

Table bookings can be made at the Cowell Post Office, with tickets $20 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.

Bring your own supper and drinks, with doors opening at 7.30pm for a 8pm start.

Proceeds will go to the Cowell Netball Club for club upgrades.
