The annual Quality Wool Cup began in Port Lincoln on Thursday with plenty of great cricket skills on show from the best under 14 players across Eyre Peninsula.
The annual twenty20 tournament, now in its seventh year, sees under 14 players representing the seven Eyre Peninsula cricket associations play two matches a day on Thursday and Friday.
The first round saw Far West against Lincoln Great Whites, Le Hunte Magpies against Great Flinders Lions, Lincoln Tuna Kings vs Tumby Bay Dolphins and Kimba Tigers facing Eastern Eyre.
Later in the day Tumby Bay took on Le Hunte, Eastern Eyre went up against Lincoln Great Whites, Lincoln Tuna Kings faced Far West and Great Flinders faced Kimba.
The second day begins Friday morning at 8.30am with all matches played at Centenary Oval, Ravendale or Poole Oval.
