To celebrate her 70th birthday Bev Blackwell of Port Pirie, a former resident of Port Neill, completed a Sky Dive with her daughter Lisa Masters and grandsons Scott and Thomas from Wharminda.
It was the second attempt to do the sky dive as the first effort had to be abandoned due to low cloud and the final attempt only happened because the cloud on the day lifted.
The family left from Parafield airport and landed on the beach at Semaphore.
The group jumped from 11,000 feet and all agreed it was an exhilarating experience and all would do it again.
Mrs Blackwell celebrated her 60th birthday in a hot air balloon with her daughter in the Barossa Valley.
Family members and friends then celebrated with lunch at Largs Bay.
