The Port Neill Districts 8-Ball Association singles championships was held on Sunday, July 30 at the Port Neill Hotel.
There were 17 competitors from Tumby, Arno, Ungarra and Port Neill that took part in the championships.
All competitors had to have played at least three games throughout the season to be able to qualify for the championship.
The winner of the best of three games then went on to the next stage of the competition.
There were some good games but the semi-finals came down to Kane Goldsworthy (Port Neill Suits) versus Graeme White (Brayfield) and Jeremy Lettenden (D-Fence) versus Jack Pugsley (D-Fence).
Goldsworthy became the youngest ever singles champion to win the prized singles trophy.
The grand final was a nail-biting best of three games between Goldsworthy and Pugsley, before 16-year-old Goldsworthy became the youngest ever singles champion to win the prized singles trophy.
Thank you to Bevan Pfizner for cooking the sausages and keeping the players hunger at bay.
Finals of the 8-ball season will start in the next few weeks as the top four teams battle it out for a place in the grand final.
