Australian country singer Adam Harvey is bringing his music and any other music people want to hear to the Eyre Peninsula next weekend.
Harvey will perform acoustically with comedian and artist Dave Prior at three gigs across the region.
Starting in Cummins, the duo will then be making their way to Streaky Bay and Cowell.
Harvey said these more intimate gigs were “really good fun”.
“Normally on tour, you play the same songs in the same order over and over,” he said.
“At these gigs, we’ll be taking requests, you can shout out your requests, write them on the coasters.
“Doesn’t matter if the songs are mine or not, I’ve had requests for Johnny Cash, the Wiggles and Kasey Chambers.”
Harvey has not been on the Eyre Peninsula for a number of years but knows how much people appreciate it when performers come to their town.
“Normally you have to spend top dollar and travel to Adelaide to see concerts,” he said.
“This is why Dave and I try to get to places we normally wouldn’t get to.”
Harvey is playing at Cowell’s Commercial Hotel on Sunday, November 19, at 3.30pm.
Tickets cost $30 per person.
Eyre Peninsula Tribune ran a competition on Facebook to give away two double passes to the gig.
Congratulations to Tina Hackshaw and Debbie Story on winning the tickets.
