Individuals and community groups will be able to apply for an additional almost $1 million in grant funding to boost their ability to respond to bushfires and other natural disaster.
The state government is extending the Regional Capability Community Fund (RCCF) to 2020.
The lastest round announced in July saw more than $1.1 million worth of equipment rolled out across the state.
The Cleve district received $7454.55, with Cowell and Kimba receiving $4954.55 and $3599.27 respectively.
Emergency Services Minister Chris Picton said the government was thankful for the contribution made by emergency services volunteers but recognised farmers and local communities needed their own capability to respond to emergencies as they occured.
