THE Darke Peak Golf Club welcomed a solid field to their Farmers Golf Day last month.
On Friday September 22 a field of 49 golfers travelled to Darke Peak for what is always a fun day of golf for all.
The golfers had to contend with temperatures in the low 30s as well as a stiff breeze from the north to play the 18-hole ambrose competition but that did not seem to dampen enthusiasm on the day.
Teams of two, of golfers and non-golfers, made their way around the course before ending the day with a schnitzel burger and presentations.
Darke Peak Golf Club president Jamie Pearson thanked the sponsors – Cleve Rural Traders and Pringles Crouch – and golfers for their support of the club before presenting the trophies.
