Supporters ready to cheer at final

THE Eyre Peninsula Crows Supporters Group members are among the most excited about this weekend’s AFL grand final.

Supporters group president Jan Regan said there were between eight and ten members who would be attending the match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground this weekend but all were very excited.

“We’re a bit nervous, a bit excited, a bit anxious we are all going through every emotion I think,” she said.

She said while there were only a few who could attend the match, the supporters who remained in Port Lincoln would not be forgotten about.

“Crow will be wandering around Port Lincoln on Friday and Saturday for people to stop and have a photo.”

Ms Regan said it was great to see so many people getting involved and so much support for the South Australian team.

“It is going to be a great weekend for all supporters I think, there will be a lot of cheering going on, especially if they (the Crows) win.”

The supporters group base, the Great Northern Hotel, will host a grand final event for all supporters.
