Applications are now open for Cleve District Council’s 2017/2018 Community Grants program.
The grants program helps the council to allocate its funds effectively and equitably, based on the individual merits of each request, to address priority community needs.
The aim of the grants is to encourage, develop and support local projects of a community, cultural, environmental, recreational or sporting nature, which demonstrate broad-based benefit to all the residents of the district, with applicants encouraged to address the objectives of the council’s Strategic Plan to increase their chance of success.
The grants are divided into two categories; category one is for grants between $1000 and $4000, and category two is for grants of less than $1000.
The organisation submitting the application must be a not-for-profit and non-government entity.
Applications close at 5pm, Friday, September 29.
Application forms are available at the council office or on the council’s website: cleve.sa.gov.au.
