In a demolition derby United Yeelanna dished up the Lock Roos by 36 goals.

Due to injuries and social choices the undermanned Roos were able to field only one senior team.

Carr started off for the Eagles and five consecutive goals to the Eagles were on the board before Roos kicked two in a row. Another three for the term saw the Eagles at 8-2 to the Roos 2-0.

The second quarter was an Eagles training run as they ran and moved the ball on.

Slape, Wright, Brown and Boehm were the shining lights for the Roos while Beard in the backlines made an honest man of his player.

At half time one could forgive the Eagles if they took the foot off the pedal but they carried on.

After Eagles got six goals, it was Lock’s Saxon Kay who took a mark to add Lock’s first goal for two quarters.

Eagles continued to add to their tally with S. Crettenden taking his total to 17 but to their credit the Roos did not lay down.

Congratulations to the two 100 gamers Xavier Watson and Kade Dufek.
