First stop on the way to Mount Gambier

The 2017 Variety Bash made its first stop on the way to Mount Gambier, rolling into Burra late on Saturday afternoon.

Grants from event sponsors and local favorites Tim Adams Wines and Mr Mick were presented to local schools Burra Community School and Booborowie Primary School at the Burra Hotel.

Burra Community was given assistive technology work $27,750, while Booborowie Primary was presented with $79,520 to help fund an outdoor learning area.

Do you recognise any of the cars from previous Variety bashes?
