It has been more than a year since the Cleve Bendigo Bank Agency’s first meeting.
With the support from the Tumby Bay District Community Bank, a committee of nine was elected in April last year.
The year has been positive and productive, thanks to the support from the Tumby Bay branch and the strong interest from the Cleve district.
The loans and investments through the Cleve agency have been very pleasing and the bank has been able to return more than $4000 in sponsorship to the district, with further projects still being considered.
The agency is preparing to sponsor the Save a Life Australia young driver education program, being provided to the Cleve Area School.
It will show the young drivers their responsibilities and remind parents and other drivers of their driving behaviour and how to set good examples.
Four new committee members were welcomed at the annual general meeting on June 29
The agency is pleased to support the community and welcomes any enquiries.
