The Cleve Lions Club is hosting the annual Mangalo Mini Football and Netball Carnival on Sunday, July 30.

The Lions have been running the mini carnival for about 36 years, with basketball joining in when it was moved to Mangalo.

The netball carnival starts at 9am with the football beginning at 9.30am. Entry is $5.

The football carnival will include teams from Eastern Ranges, Kimba, Cowell, Ports, Lock, Tumby Bay, Central Whyalla, Roopena, Weeroona and West Whyalla.

The netball carnival will feature teams from Eastern Ranges, Kimba, Cowell, Ports, Eyre United, Tumby Bay, Lock and Central Eyre.

Eastern Ranges have been doing a great job organising the draws to have the day running smoothly.

The Cleve Lions will be providing the food throughout the day as one of their major fundraisers with proceeds going toward ongoing projects in the community.

The end of the day will also see someone leave the carnival with a bike donated by Ramsey Brothers in the raffle, with tickets costing just $1.

Tickets can be bought before the event at Cleve Mitre 10, Cleve Post Office, Cleve Newsagency and Gifted, as well as on the day at the drinks shed.
