Kimba Districts Football Club is preparing for the return of a local legend to his old stomping ground.

Former Geelong player and Kimba local Corey Enright, known fondly as ‘Boris’, is returning for an exhibition match this Saturday.

Mr Enright will be an addition for the A grade team, as Kimba looks to redeem themselves after three straight losses, in the match against Eastern Ranges.

Enright, who is playing for Barwon Heads, will be in Adelaide as part of the coaching team for Geelong’s match against the Adelaide Crows before traveling back to Kimba on Saturday morning

The Kimba Districts Football Club has arranged for Enright to be a part of the night’s festivities, which will include him presenting the club’s awards at 6pm, and an ‘On the Couch’ session, where his friends will interview him from 8.30pm.

There will also be a band, Temporary Fix, playing later in the night.

Kimba Districts Football Club president Peter Woolford said the night would be great for everyone to mingle with the star.

“We really want everyone to get involved,” Mr Woolford said.

“It will be a great celebration of his career.

“He hasn’t played here since he was 16 or 17, when he played 34 A grade games.

“It will be a real buzz for the players, and everyone involved.”

The junior players will also be treated to a training session with Enright on Sunday morning.
