Footy colours help raise funds

The Lock Area School Student Leadership Group held a Footy Colours Day raising money for the Fight Cancer Foundation.

Students and staff came dressed in their favourite team colours, some choosing to show off their favourite AFL team’s colours, while others chose to show their pride for their local team, the Lock Roos.

Everyone was treated to a sausage sizzle for lunch, with cupcakes, that had been decorated in footy colours, for dessert.

After eating lunch, they took part in a number of different lunch time games, including a football kicking contest and handball contest, as well as a lollies in a jar game.

Overall, everyone had a great day raising $160 in much needed funds for the Fight Cancer Foundation.
