CHRISTIES BEACH – A woman has escaped after being held against her will for three days at a Christies Beach property.

The victim was assaulted at a Para Vista home on Friday, May 26 and allegedly forced into a car by three men and woman all known to her, before she was driven to the Christies Beach property.

Police allege she was kept there against her will for three days, before she was able to escape on Monday, May 29 and raise the alarm.

Investigating police were able to identify the four suspects, the property where the victim was kept, and the car involved. 

A 36-year-old Parafield Gardens man, a 34-year-old Ottoway man, and a 23-year-old Christie Downs man will face charges of unlawful detention and aggravated assault at Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.

The fourth suspect, a 29-year-old Hackham woman, was arrested and charged with unlawful detention and aggravated assault, was bailed, and will face Christies Beach Magistrates Court on July 29.

A SAPOL spokesman said it was believed that the incident was drug-related.
