LAUNCH: SALT Festival committee members Jack Ritchie and Tim Coote.

AFTER 18 months of hard work the SALT Festival is ready to spice up people’s lives across the Lower Eyre and wider Eyre Peninsula.

The 10-day program will feature about 100 shows at various locations including Port Lincoln, Cummins, Tumby Bay, Coffin Bay and Edillilie.

The official launch will be Friday from 5.30pm at the festival’s SALT Shaker hub which is located next to the Ming Inn at Port Lincoln.

Festival coordinator Lisa Kuerschner said Southern Eyre Arts had been working hard to make the event a reality.

“There’s been a theme throughout, we have a catchphrase that ‘anything is possible’, and we feel we’ve proven that true.”

Shows with Emma Fuss, Jacquie Carmichael and Peter Goers are just some of the highlights of the festival.

Tickets are available online and at Beyond Bank, Port Lincoln and the SALT Shaker hub.
