Des Rehn won his 17th championship single 25/19 from George Crabb and Richie Baker won the championship plate 21/17 from Russell Curtis.

Spectators enjoyed both games, good bowls were played, and in good sportsmanship.

Club president Robert Udy welcomed all players and markers and handed the days proceedings to tournament manager Errol Schutz.

The weather was good although a heavy shower of rain towards the end of the day made playing conditions more difficult.

Results of the early rounds: E Carmody lost to P Schultz 25/18, D Rehn defeated R Baker 25/12, L Carmody defeated D Fisher 25/19, R Curtis lost to R Udy 25/20, J West defeated T Diorio 25/20, G Crabb received a forfeit from D Grgurovic.

Round 2: D Rehn defeated P Schultz 25/14, L Carmody defeated R Udy 25/24, B Norris received forfeit from G Jones, G Crabb defeated J West 25/17.

Semi finals: D Rehn defeated L Carmody 25/24, G Crabb defeated B Norris 25/15.

Final: D Rehn defeated G Crabb 25/19.
