Tournament organisers were pleased with the entries in this year’s competition when 12 ladies competed in the championship singles playing in good weather conditions and on excellent greens.

The final was an evenly contested game over 30 ends and was won by Denise Rehn from Judy Wiseman 25/17.

The scores did not indicate the calibre of the competition throughout the game the scores were 8/12; 13/16; 17/21 in favour of Rehn.
