KIMBA v RUDALL…The Tigers made the most of their home ground advantage on Saturday to trample the visiting Rams in a resounding 177 point victory.
The match got under way in near perfect conditions. The sun was out and there was only a gentle breeze pushing to the Northern end.
Kimba captain Scott Redden won the toss and elected to head to the favoured end. The battle in the middle was going to have a big say in the match with Nulla Larwood, Nathan Woolford, Hayden Whitwell and Jordan Clements up against Tom Forrest, Greg Parkes, Tony Evans and Jarrad Siviour. It was here that the Tigers started the onslaught. Chris Kenchington got one in the first couple minutes, and then Jordan Clements got the Tigers second.
After good play from young Blair Buchanan who set up Brent Harris for a couple and got one himself, the Tigers had raced to a six goal lead inside the first ten minutes of the game.
