The Tigers are looking forward to another successful year around the club, according to A Grade coach Daryl Cearns.
Kimba Districts is celebrating 21 years since amalgamation, so there will be some festivities happening throughout the season to mark this milestone.
“Now that the start of the 2009 Football Season is closing in I am looking forward to having a second opportunity to coach at the Club,” Daryl said.
“The club has a strong committee and playing group and having learnt to win again should look forward to the coming years.
“In saying that, each season has different challenges which I’m sure our playing group can manage.”
With almost 30 Kimba Senior Colts looking to play for the club in 2009, expect to see some of the Tigers temporarily swap guernseys during the season to boost opposing teams and ensure everyone gets a run.
New recruits this year include Ashleigh Lienert from Ports, Dustin Fromm from Moonta and Lee Jackson from Cowell
Jordan Stutley, Dylan Eatts and Dylan Beinke return to the club while juniors Brent Harris, Brayden Tucker and Brayden Chambers are moving up.
Jace Rodda has moved to Lincoln South, Shannon Larwood to BMW, Cody Pahl to Lincoln South and Wade Eatts to Meningie.
