16 Sep 09 | Eastern Eyre Netball C2 Grade CLEVE v KIMBA… Having come from fourth position, this match between underdogs, Cleve, and minor premiers, Kimba, was going to be an interesting one. In the hot and windy conditions, Kimba got off to a flying start, scoring easily off their first few centre passes and overturning Cleve’s. They took a quick 6 –2 lead with their attackers moving the ball effortlessly into Theresa Girdham in goals, who capitalised on every opportunity.

09 Sep 09 | Eastern Eyre Netball A Grade prelimary final CLEVE v RUDALL… Third time lucky saw the A Grade preliminary final played in almost perfect weather for the match between Cleve and Rudall on Saturday.
09 Sep 09 | Cleve Golf with ‘Preferred Lies’ Championship finals were completed on Sunday and again the winds blew. The 2009 club champions are Liz Zwar and Paul Cox who had good wins over Nita Colman and Peter Arnold respectively.
Bowls season draws to a close for winter

Darke Peak picnic day
02 Sep 09 | A total of 22 players representing Pt Lincoln, Kimba, Lock, Darke Peak, Kyancutta, Cleve, Coffin Bay and Cummins Golf Clubs played a stableford competition on a day that almost had every thing in weather - calm periods, very gusty winds and short but sharp showers. The main thing was that all said they enjoyed the course and the day, but that some scores left a bit to be desired.
