Youth arrests

04 Dec, 2009 10:04 AM
Two 15-year-old male youths from Tumby Bay have been arrested for offences including aggravated serious criminal trespass, illegal interference with a motor vehicle, unlawfully on premises, theft, and property damage.

The arrests come after investigations into a number of offences committed in the Tumby Bay area over the past two months including break-ins to residential premises, business premises and vehicles, theft of more than $2500 worth of property, and more than $18,000 worth of damage caused to both residential and business premises.

Some of the stolen property has already been recovered by the Tumby Bay police. Investigations are continuing and further arrests and property seizures are likely.
