Driver escapes serious injury

01 Jul, 2009 03:38 PM
A 22-year-old Kimba man managed to escape injury when he drove his Holden utility into a tree on North Terrace at about 2am on Friday, June 26.

The tree was not damaged but the vehicle, valued at around $40,000 was extensively damaged.

The driver of the car was subsequently reported for misuse of a motor vehicle after it was established he was at the local oval car park doing 'circle work' just prior to the accident.
