Winners in the first round were Darren Carmody and Harley Pahl in the Street Stock class and Steve Weir (Port Lincoln) and Glen Wedding in the Open Wheeler class. Andrew Lear and daughter Sam Moulden ( Port Lincoln) also won in the Modified class.

GREAT FLINDERS v MID WEST…Mid West settled firstthrough some strong defence from Karen Petty that settled earlier and started the score rolling. Great Flinders’ Sarahanne Lewis was proving to be a tight WD, providing her team with scoring opportunities. Mid West were able to capitalise on their strong defence and lead 9 – 6 at the first break.
